Thank you!

Posted by nechc on June 26, 2011

Attendees– for your kindness, appreciation, and participation.
Speakers– for sharing the Wisdom and Knowledge God has graced you with humbly.
Priests and Religious– Your vocations inspire us.
Vendors– your sacrifice in attending, shipping, discounts, and advertising is deeply appreciated.
(especially Seton, HSLDA, Pauline Books and Media, Kolbe, Nancy Larson Science, Teaching Textbooks and the colleges and the new vendors who gave us a try.)
St. Stanislaus Principal, Priests, Janitors and Volunteers– Your welcome and hospitality during such a hectic week was so kind and Christlike! And your pierogi’s are so delicious!

(My fellow committee members– your generosity and your hardworking husbands bring me to tears. I love you and thank God for you always.)

Our biggest Thank You this year is to Thomas More College, Mark Schwerdt and Dr. William E Fahey. TMC has offered to take over running and hosting of the New England Catholic Homeschool Conference for its 4th year at their Merrimack, NH campus. This will be a ministry to the poeple of New England and Catholics everywhere.

They will be managing the website, email and logistics. I am sure homeschoolers who want to help will be greatly appreciated.

Come back here soon for information on next year, MP3 Downloads of this year’s talks and photos of our day which should be available within a week.

Mary

Conference update

Posted by nechc on June 17, 2011

We heard from Kolbe Academy today. Unfortunately, they will not be able to attend as planned due to the high costs of transportation. They will still have a table, however, as a local homeschool family has generously volunteered to cover a table for them and distribute order forms. We are saddened that their representative cannot come, but we are joyous that they will still have a presence at the conference.
We have added two more vendors today, as well. Intellego Unit Studies and Art and Music Games will be vendors.
We were also contacted by Carolee McGrath of Real to Reel. She will be covering the conference for Real to Reel. We are excited to have her coming and look forward to her piece on the conference.

See you all next weekend!

Today–

Posted by nechc on June 15, 2011

There is just enough time for 9 days of prayer for our Conference. Please pray for the Speakers, Vendors, Parish, Volunteers, and the parents God is calling. It seems like a lot to spend but remember: free shipping, door prizes, welcome bags and exploring new ideas in fellowship!

Today we packed the Welcome Bags and I created a tab at the top of the page listing the many Doorprizes available to those who registered. We are looking forward to seeing you!
