Calling All Speakers and Vendors!

Posted by nechc on July 17, 2008

An newly updated site worth checking out if want to be a vendor or speaker at conventions.
H.S.V.A. – The Homeschool Speakers and Vendors Assoc.

Here are 2 of their FAQ’s
Q.  OK.  I’m not sure I understand.  What is the main purpose of HSVA, anyway?
HSVA’s main purpose is to provide homeschool speakers and vendors with a “one-stop shopping” area where they can find information about hundreds of conventions across the US and Canada.  Additionally, they will be able to find marketing tips and travel information, post their presentation descriptions and bios, and more.
Q.  I don’t really need access to any of the convention information or any of the marketing and travel tips.  I would just like to have my Speaker Information posted on HSVA so that it could be easily found by convention directors.  Do I still have to pay the full $249 annual fee?
No.  Even if you do not wish to join HSVA or receive access to all of the features of the HSVA website, you may be a part of the HSVA Speakers section for just $59 per year. (plus a one-time page setup fee of $10.)  As a speaker, you will receive the following:
1.  A listing on the main Speakers Info page, which includes Speaker Name, Email Address, Website Address, Mailing Address, and Phone Number.

2.  After clicking on your name, visitors will be taken to a page that is exclusively about you!  It includes your photo, bio, confirmed speaking engagements (unlimited updates), and all of your Presentation Titles and Descriptions. Convention operators have free access to all of the Speaker pages, giving you increased opportunities for speaking engagements.
